Deep Meaning

Extremely rare find! This 2,500-year-old find was a part of a Roman outpost in Afghanistan. These shards of glass were once a part of items like drinking glasses, bowls, and jugs. After the outpost was destroyed the intense sun created an almost opalized effect onto the glass due to the long immense heat. Each piece is truly unique.

So much beauty in something broken

I wasn’t sure if I wanted to spend the money on a broken shard, but something about this called to me to add it to my cart. The color is so brilliant for something so old, and I can only imagine what a whole cup or bowl would look like! I can’t help but hold it up and look at it catch the light in different ways.

Small Roman Desert Glass

I need to spend more time with this lovely intriguing piece of history, to get a feel for it.
It’s beautiful and interesting & so far I love it. It’s a bit fragile so I keep it safe in plastic wrap for now.
No regrets on purchasing it 💚🤍💙
