South Carolina Mechanic Fixes and Gives Cars to Those in Need
A South Carolina man by the name of Eliot Middleton, a restaurant owner and trained mechanic, fixes cars and donates them to rural families without a ride.
"There's no public transportation," Middleton told CBS News in June. "There's no Ubers, there's no taxis or nothing like that."
In total he has fixed and donated 34 cars to individuals in need. Middleton's sister is helping him deal with the influx in mail regarding the donation of cars for him to fix.
Furthermore, since CBS News brought light to Eliot's story, he has received more than 100k in cash donations to his non profit organization, called Middleton's Village to Village!
