Woman Gives Homeless Man Water; Starts a Chain Reaction

Barbara Mack, stopping for a water bottle at a local gas station, saw a homeless man under the shade next to his bike. This was a man who she had seen multiple times before, and previously had given food and drinks.

That day, the heat index had reached over 100 degrees and Barbara had noticed that the man was not looking well. She thought he was in serious risk of a heatstroke.

So, she went into the gas station and purchased the man a water bottle. One individual commented negatively on her kind act and what followed was truly amazing.

After others in the gas station heard one woman ridicule Barbara for what she did, those individuals ended up buying food items for that homeless man and then gave them to him!

Ice cream, a sandwich, money, and a candy bar were some of the things those other generous individuals gave the man!

Barbara called a friend of hers afterwards, and she encouraged her to share it on Facebook. Once she did, the post was sent 137,000 times with 23,000 comments.

Barbara started a chain reaction of good deeds, which people commented and shared on Barbara's post.
