Woman Pays for 60 Stranger's Meals at Pennsylvania Diner
The Country Diner in Hegins Township, Pennsylvania was having a normal day until the unexpected happened. Lorrie Renniger who has worked at this specific diner for three years ran into a customer she most certainly will never forget.
"I waited on this lady, and it was time for her to pay her bill, and came up to the register and said she would like to pay for everyone's bill. I'm like, 'Are you sure?' and she was like, 'Yes,' and it was like $350," Renninger said.
The generosity did not stop there. This individual proceeded to then tip both waitresses a total of $100. Renniger was ecstatic because she said that business has been up and down due to Covid. In light of this, they have had to reduce hours and the financial impact of that has been felt throughout the diner.
"It was really helpful if you know what I mean," Canavatchel said. "When money's tight, a kind hand goes a long way."
It is so important to remember that even a small gesture can go a long way. If you want to see change in this world, you need to go out and do it. Don't wait around., be the change you want to see!
