Science & Origin of Kundalini Citrine
Kundalini Citrine is a variety of Citrine that crystallizes in prismatic form, with smaller crystal points forming at the base of the matrix alongside the main crystal. The color is usually a yellow or orange, but can be seen with smoky inclusions and even close to a full black color. The only know deposit of this mineral comes out of the Lwena region of the Democratic Republic of Congo, and due to this region's conflict and instability, is very hard to acquire. Most crystals on the market are from an old stock or previously collected, as any new mining operations are very limited and face numerous challenges when trying to trade these crystals out of the country.
