Cheetah Agate is a variety of chalcedony agate that crystallizes in massive formations. The deposit is found in Brazil within an Apatite mine and it’s spotted pattern is caused by small dendrite shaped inclusions of Blue Apatite. This occurs in a beige and tan colored chalcedony matrix that helps resemble the namesake of this crystal which bears resemblance to the fur pattern of a cheetah.
