Yellow Jade is a rare variety of Nephrite that crystallizes in the form of masses. The depth of color is due to tiny traces of Iron and Manganese that can slightly differ depending on the amount of impurities. This stone has a long history with ancient Asian culture and is a highly revered stone in the Eastern hemisphere. A lot of this material still comes from this region, specifically China. Smaller deposits of Yellow Jade can be found in Japan, Burma, Guatemala, and the United States.
Yellow Jade’s energies are nearly identical to that of the common green Jade and in fact are almost mirrored chemically. Aside from tiny impurities that change the appearance, you may not even be able to tell the difference energetically when in a deep meditative session.
