Blue Dolomite is a rare variety of Dolomite that crystallizes in small prismatic crystal clusters usually up to a few centimeters long. The color is light to transparent blue and looks very similar to Celestite. It’s matrix is usually white or black and can contain Pyrite or Calcite. The discovery of this mineral happened around 10 years ago in Pena Blanca Mine, Western Boyaca Prov., Boyaca Dept., Colombia.
