Science & Origin of Stichtite
Stichtite is a magnesium chromium carbonate mineral that crystallizes in the form of masses, foliates, and spotted inclusions of other minerals. One special variety that displays this characteristic is a mineral by the name of Atlantisite (Stichtite formed within a Serpentine host rock). Its color is predominantly lilac purple, but can also be lavender and pink. It was first discovered in 1910 in Tasmania, Australia by A.S. Wesley. He chose to name it after the mine’s manager, Robert Carl Sticht; an American metallurgist and chief executive of the infamous Mount Lyell Mining and Railway Company. Since it’s initial extraction over 110 years ago, Stitchite has only been found a handful of times. These deposits are in Australia, Tasmania, South Africa, Canada, Zimbabwe, Sweden, Russia, Brazil, and India.
Meaning & Energy
Stichtite is a very unique and complex stone. It emits energies that directly activate and connect the heart, third eye, and crown chakra. This interesting bond is highly unusual in nature, with very few stones we’ve ever worked with having this initial capability. Upon receiving the purple rays of light from Stichtite, one's intuitive and emotional body seamlessly reacts to one another. This encourages self growth and healing by having your feelings and heartfelt issues at the forefront of your brain. One will become empathic to themselves and strive to restore love and nurture into their own aura. During this experience, the third eye is extremely open and is capable of seeing past any false sense of reality. This psychic ability enables one to understand the root of their internal pain and where the true cause really comes from. So often we try to hide traumatic emotions from our own mind. We constantly look towards incorrect sources of restoration and even sometimes try to fill the void with external substances. Stitchtite’s energies remind you to listen to your inner spirit and open your heart for the world to see.
Focused Meditation
When meditating with this stone, focus on releasing your emotions. Try sitting up right with your feet crossed while placing your favorite piece of Stichtite directly on top of your head. Let the vibrations release themselves and go directly to your mind. Watch as your thoughts expand and your decision making ability becomes harmonized. One will soon begin to question if this negative ideology or experience is worth being upset over. A majority of the time you will be able to answer that with honesty and ascend from that toxic reality. If you are not able to, the brain will not go into survival mode once more (as it has had to do on numerous occasions to bear the weight of your unwanted experience), instead it will look for ways to relax and slowly release these delicate emotions. Stichtite will not be the final answer to all of your problems, but it will change your way of thinking and remind you just how important your health truly is.
